30 June 2002 The following announcement was issued by HM King Constantine, former King of Greece's office in London: HRH Princess Alexia, daughter of HM King Constantine and HM Queen Anne-Marie, and her husband Mr Carlos Morales Quintana have announced that their daughter, Arrietta will be christened on 30th June at 6:00 pm at the Chapel of La Purisima Conception, Roger de Lluria 70, Barcelona. Officiating at the Greek Orthodox ceremony will be His Eminence the Metropolitan of France, Jeremias. The Godparents are: HRH Princess Theodora, sister of Princess Alexia, HRH Infanta Cristina, Duchess of Palma, first cousin of Princess Alexia, Mrs Maria Teresa Morales Quintana, sister of Mr Carlos Morales Quintana, Mr Philippos Stratos, a Greek school friend of Princess Alexia, and Mr Manuel Cabrera Cabreara, friend of Mr Carlos Morales Quintana The couple were married in London on 9th July 1999 and Arrietta was born on 24th February 2002 at the Centro Medico Technon Hospital in Barcelona.
