November 2002 The 2002 Peace Award Friday, 29 November 2002 The Peace Foundation presents the 2002 Peace Award to HM King Constantine. HM Queen Anne-Marie and HRH Prince Nikolaos will receive the award on his behalf, as King Constantine will be attending an International Olympic Committee conference in Mexico City, Mexico. The award is in honour of Maria Tia Fanfani's 60 years of humanitarian work and is presented in recognition of King Constantine's contribution to Sport and Peace. HM Queen Sofia of Spain and HRH Princess Irene, King Constantine's sisters, have both been awarded by The Peace Foundation in the past.
